Spirits

Caledonia Spirits was established by Todd Hardie with one simple goal: to make spirits out of the best ingredients he can find. Years as a beekeeper and naturalist give Todd a deep respect for our regional agriculture and ecology, and drive him to bring people the best both have to offer. Today Todd works with a network of regional farmers to showcase the beauty of their grains, fruits, and bee hive products in spirit form.

Bar Hill Gin (90 proof)

This Gin is a celebration of our special connection to the land. We use pure grain spirits as a canvas to showcase juniper berry and raw northern honey. Added just before bottling, the raw honey imparts unique floral qualities that vary with season and blossom.

Bar Hill Honey Vodka (80 proof)

This Vodka is crafted from pure Raw Honey at our small riverside distillery in Caledonia County, Vermont. We bring honey in directly from the hives, and cold ferment it over several weeks. When ready, we carefully distill the wine in our custom stills. The result is a pure spirit that reflects the floral characteristics of a given honey run’s blossoms. We hope you taste the subtle differences of each season in your glass.

Elderberry Cordial (9.7% abv)

This rich cordial combines the vibrant flavor of elderberry, with the sweet richness of apple and raw honey. Lower in alcohol than our other offerings, our Elderberry Cordial is a lovely digestif, and also provides something special to cocktails.
